Product Description

Aluminum Stucco Embossed Sheet Alloy Grades and Dimensions

Available Aluminum Alloy Series

Stucco embossed aluminum plate and coil are produced from non-heat-treatable aluminum alloys selected for formability, corrosion resistance, and reflectivity. The standard alloy options are 1050, 1060, 1100, and 8011. The 1xxx series alloys (1050, 1060, 1100) offer high aluminum purity with good corrosion resistance and thermal performance. Alloy 8011 is an iron-silicon bearing grade commonly used in foil and sheet applications where additional strength is beneficial. Material is produced to general aluminum sheet standards including ASTM B209 for flat-rolled aluminum products.

Surface Patterns and Color Finishes for Stucco Embossed Aluminum

Orange Peel Stucco Embossed Pattern Details

The standard surface pattern is the orange peel stucco embossed finish, characterized by a uniform dimpled texture across the sheet surface. This textured pattern diffuses light and provides increased surface area compared with smooth sheet. A clear or standard orange peel variation is available, differing in pattern depth and prominence. The embossed texture also adds stiffness to thin-gauge material and reduces visible surface marks during handling and installation.

Mill Finish and Colored Coating Options

Standard material is supplied in mill finish — the natural aluminum surface as produced after embossing, with no additional color coating. For projects requiring color matching or decorative appearance, coated options are available in blue, green, red, and yellow. Colored finishes provide a uniform surface color while retaining the underlying embossed texture.

Performance Characteristics of Stucco Embossed Aluminum Coil

Thermal Reflectivity and Insulation Benefits

Stucco embossed aluminum is widely used as an outer jacketing layer for insulated pipes and ductwork. Aluminum reflects radiant heat, and the embossed surface diffuses reflected light to reduce glare. When installed over mineral wool or foam insulation, the aluminum jacket protects insulation material from physical damage and moisture ingress while contributing to the overall thermal performance of the system.

Corrosion Resistance and Weight Advantages

Aluminum naturally forms a thin oxide layer when exposed to air, providing inherent corrosion resistance in many atmospheric conditions. The 1xxx series alloys offer particularly good resistance to rural, urban, and marine atmospheric environments. Aluminum also exhibits a low density relative to steel and copper, reducing material weight for transportation and installation. This weight advantage can lower on-site handling time and support load-limited structure designs.

Commercial and Industrial Applications of Embossed Aluminum Plate

Pipe Insulation and HVAC Systems

Stucco embossed aluminum coil is a standard jacketing material for hot and cold pipe insulation in industrial plants, commercial buildings, and district heating networks. It is also used on HVAC ductwork, refrigeration lines, and chilled water systems. The dimpled surface hides small installation scratches and maintains a uniform appearance after fitting.

Architectural Cladding and Decorative Uses

In building applications, stucco embossed aluminum plate serves as exterior wall cladding, roof trim, and decorative paneling. The textured surface provides visual interest and reduces mirror-like reflection compared with smooth aluminum sheet. Colored coated options support architectural color schemes and branding requirements.

FAQ

What is the minimum order quantity for stucco embossed aluminum coil?

The standard minimum order quantity is 200 kilograms for both plate and coil formats. Custom slit widths or special color coatings may be subject to adjusted minimums.

Alloy 1060 and 1100 are commonly selected for outdoor pipe jacketing due to their good atmospheric corrosion resistance and formability around pipe contours.

Can the material be supplied in slit widths?

Yes, master coil can be slit to custom widths matching pipe diameters or project specifications. Slit width tolerances follow standard slitting practice for thin-gauge aluminum.

How is the embossed pattern depth controlled?

Pattern depth is controlled through calibrated emboss roll pressure during production. Routine dimensional and visual checks are performed to ensure consistent pattern appearance across each production run.
